Although he found in favour of the Government he was critical
of many aspects of the levy and gave leave to appeal. A particularly

| 29/03/02 | 9 | High Court Action - The 3 day hearing in Number 1 Court of the Royal
Courts of Justice in London concluded on the 27th March and
the Judge intends to issue his verdict as soon as possible, hopefully
by the middle of April. Despite appeals
from all sectors including the CBI and two Labour Ministers, Treasury
have refused to delay the introduction of the levy until after the
